Educational Outreach
One key element of Los Robles Master Chorale's mission is its commitment to arts education, with particular emphasis on nurturing the choral singers, conductors, director and supporters of tomorrow. During 2013, the chorale will host two educational outreach programs.
On March 9, 2013 LRMC will feature the High School Choral Festival, a non-competitive, choral singing workshop for high school singers and their directors.
In October, 2013, LRMC will sponsor its High School Choral Leadership Workshop, an all-day event led by Artistic Director Lesley Leighton. This will be a rare opportunity for serious high school choral singers, selected by their choir directors, to work in an intimate setting on improving their individual singing and ensemble leadership skills.
Choir directors interested in having their students participate in the High School Choral Festival or the High School Choral Leadership Workshop can obtain more information from Artistic Production and Personnel Manager Lynn Youngren at 805/990-3006 (8 am - 5 pm daily.)
